I know that coming to see a psychologist for the first time can be daunting or overwhelming, or sometimes it can bring a sense of relief for taking that first step.

Your first appointment will be a getting-to-know-you session. This will provide us with shared information about the difficulties that you are experiencing that led you to reach out for guidance, and assist us to establish a therapeutic relationship that will help you achieve your goals. I have a firm and direct but supportive approach, and I see the opportunity to work with you as a privilege which I do not take lightly.

I began my career as a psychological researcher before obtaining my Master's qualification to become a clinical psychologist. I have spent most of the last two decades working with individuals with a range of difficulties including depression, stress, anxiety, anger management, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and pain management.

I utilise evidence-based and best practice therapeutic interventions including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to suit your needs. I am committed to ongoing professional development.
